Eagle Telecom’s Narrowband VHF Transmitter supports FCC’s 12.5 KHz channel spacing requirement with the frequency accuracy of 10ppb, using Direct Digital Synthesis of up to eight channels. These transmitters are designed to provide greater degree of frequency stability and are ideally suited for simulcast paging. Both digital and voice paging are supported by these transmitters.
The Eagle Telecom QUANTUM & STEALTH 72, 150, 450 and 900 MHz Base Stations are solid state advanced-design base stations. They were designed with highly reliability components and provide ease of service. They are ideal for stand-alone or simulcast operation. These base stations feature highly modular design with the major functions in easily removable components.
These components include the high-stability exciter module (ultra high stability exciter, optional), the base station controller, the phase delay and the power amplifier. The QUANTUM Base Station employs a standard four-foot-high cabinet accommodating a complete redundant system. The STEALTH Base Station utilizes the minimum-size cabinet to accommodate the full base station and allows front access to all components. All Eagle Telecom transmitters above 100 watts come equipped with the Eagle Telecom HEAT TRAP™ design to provide the user with long-life high-reliability performance even under the most extreme operating conditions.
The Eagle Telecom high, medium and low-power power amplifiers are designed to operate with any FCC-type accepted exciter or may be combined with the Eagle Telecom optional plug-in control boards and exciter to provide a complete Base Station, Link Transmitter or SMR application in the same package as the power amplifier.
All power amplifiers above 100 watts come equipped with the Eagle Telecom HEAT TRAP™ design to provide the user with long-life, high-reliability performance even under the most extreme operating conditions. The small footprint of the power amplifiers allows easy interface in most existing cabinets or in the optional slim-line cabinet provided by Eagle Telecom.
The Hot Standby Panel (HSP) provides hot switching between two transmitters in the event of a failure with one of the transmitters and requires no human intervention. It is designed to interface a main and a backup transmitter to the output antenna using highly reliable coaxial relay. The Hot Standby Panel improves overall system reliability by performing automatic switchover from the main to the backup transmitter when the main transmitter fails and, vice-versa, without degrading overall system paging operation.
Although it is designed for Eagle Telecom Transmitters, it can interface with any other standard transmitters.
The Eagle Telecom Link Receivers are available in 72MHz VHF and UHF bands. These high-sensitivity receivers are stand-alone type and come in 1U rack mount package. It is very easy to install and requires very little adjustment.
